We have gathered some helpful labor and employment resources pertaining to California labor law and federal labor laws. Keep in mind that the formal name for the commonly used phrase “California Labor Board” is actually the California Division of Standards Enforcement.
Also included in our resource information is a method to check if your employer has complied with the Alternative Work Week requirements in California by first holding a vote with the employees, and second, registering the results of this vote with the State of California electing an alternative work week (i.e. 4 days of work, 10 hours per day instead of 5 days of work, 8 hours per day).
We are hopeful that these resources continue to educate our clients, and visitors to our site, as to their rights in regard to California and federal wage issues.
